Rows

Row actions live in the Edit menu. Open it with + in the bottom bar, or by holding a row number.

Select rows

Tap a row number to select that row. Drag the handle at the edge of the selection to take in more rows.

Insert rows

• Insert above / Insert below add one blank row next to the selected row.
• With 2–50 rows selected, they add that many: select 3 rows and the menu says Insert 3 rows above.
• Insert multiple… opens a sheet: choose Above or Below, pick a number (1 · 5 · 10 · 25 · 50, or type one), and tap the button, which says exactly what it will do.
• With nothing selected, Add rows… adds rows at the end of the file.

The first new cell is selected and ready to type in. One Undo takes the whole block away.

Note

If a filter hides the new blank rows, the message says so and offers Remove filter.

Move rows

1. Select the rows, then choose Move rows in the Edit menu.
2. The bottom bar changes to Cancel and Move to top.
3. Tap the row number the rows should go after, or tap Move to top.

Moving isn’t possible while the table is sorted, because the sort decides the order. Clear the sort first.

Delete rows

Select the rows and choose Delete row. Smart CSV asks first, and the message afterwards offers Undo.
